Framing buildings and park construction

About Dennie W. Gose

DWG has experience in a wide variety of facility types – both military and civilian agency – including projects in high-security locations as well as occupied, fully-functional and mission-critical facilities.

Dennie W. Gose is the founder and principal owner of DWG. A former Chief Warrant Officer and Helicopter Pilot, Gose flew over 100 troop insertion and extraction, resupply, command and control, and gunship fire support missions in the Republic of South Vietnam. During his final mission in August of 1968, Gose’s Bell UH-1 “Huey” Helicopter took on enemy fire. Gose sustained injuries when a bullet ripped through the helicopter fuselage, severely injuring his leg. Gose was able to safely bring the Huey to the ground but his injuries resulted in the loss of his right leg at the knee.

The United States recognized Gose’s service by awarding him multiple medals including Air Medals, the Purple Heart, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and several others.

Upon completion of his military service, Gose obtained his architectural license and pursued a career in building construction and design, formally organizing his own company, DWG & Associates, in 1995. In 2002 DWG incorporated. Shortly thereafter, the company acquired CDR Enterprises. This acquisition brought to the company Brent Berry and Walter Brundy – construction professionals with additional extensive Federal government expertise.

Because of his four years of hospitalization in VA facilities and years more of rehabilitation, Gose became very familiar with the VA system and gained an appreciation for those who work tirelessly to care for and support U.S. troops and veterans. Gose remains determined to provide support to those who care for and assist our troops, and passes that pride and desire on to all employees he hires. DWG now has approximately 200 employees, with regional DWG offices across the United States.
